Petra: Calgary Baby Photographer

'The poop was worth it!'
comment from Petra's mom upon seeing the first image
A funny, but telling statement; Newborn photography is not for the faint of heart as yes, the two P's are always involved.  Definitely and totally worth it as these photos are forever and laundry comes and goes right ?

Rock the Dress: Calgary Wedding Photographer

This is Kristine.  We met while commuting on the 101 to our jobs downtown and she recently contacted me saying she still fits into her wedding dress and since it's just sitting there... why not make good use of it!  We originally booked a session for the Spring but quickly agreed that mixing two sessions in different seasons would be better.
A few hours before we planned to meet the weather dropped 10 degrees (welcome to Calgary).  She said she would brave the snow but the wind ended up being too much and we did most of our session in the barn instead.  Thank goodness for seat warmers!
See you in the Spring Kristine.  I can't wait to Trash the Dress.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Here's Johnny!: Calgary Equine Photographer

Debbie is a good running friend of mine and graciously agreed to meet me and Kristine for a trash-the-dress session with her horse, Johnny.  He was not too impressed with my umbrella or the fact that he had to stand still in front of it.  Here are some "warm up" photographs.  You can see from blizzard outside that it was pretty clear we had to move indoors quickly.

Miss Morgan at 2 weeks: Calgary Newborn Photographer

It took nearly 2 hours for Miss Morgan to fall into her slumber.  Thankfully, Mr. Sandman did visit (he missed my last 2 infant sessions) and I had the opportunity to get about thirty detailed shots before she woke up again.
