Pysh Posh Photography: September 2011

Bree is a big reason there is a Pysh Posh Photography today. Nearly two years ago she sent me a very sweet email asking if I was interested in shooting her wedding and 'did I have a portfolio?'

um....no. I don't think Facebook baby photos count, do they?

But you can bet I had a portfolio set up by the end of the day!

And for 18 months I've been working towards taking better and better pictures so that one day I could impress my very first client on her wedding. And I'm so glad I accepted the challenge because photography has become an unexpected creative outlet for me. One that challenges both my shy geekiness with its plethora of tempting technology as well as the diva inside who loves fashion magazines and engaging with new people. Photography consumes me now and I still work day-to-day on taking better photos. Thanks so much Bree! You and Al make a wonderful team and I'm already thinking about your future babies and family session that we'll have to do. ;-) But in the meantime, enjoy all that life has to offer a talented and honest pair of newlyweds.
